Senait Hagos
18 years teaching chemistry in Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Fairview Primary School
- 1988 to 2003
- English
For 15 years I was the chemistry teacher at Fairview Primary School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Senait
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Senait: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 1989. You believed I could do it before I did
