Senait Bekele
32 years teaching chemistry in Gondar
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Gondar Primary School
- Since 1993
- English, Amharic
For 33 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Gondar Primary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
More about Senait
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

I was in your first-year students class in 2013. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.
