I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sem
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Sem: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me French in 2025 at Amsterdam Boys' School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

I'm a chef now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Bahir Dar.
