Selim Yiğit Yıldız
Self-taught street art artist
- 🇹🇷 Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye
- Mount Pleasant Studio
- Since 1982
- English
I work mostly in street art, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1982 at Mount Pleasant Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Mount Pleasant Studio, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Selim: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
