Selamawit Sosina Melaku

French and chemistry teacher, Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Valley View Secondary School
  • Since 1982
  • English, Amharic
For 44 years I have been the French teacher at Valley View Secondary School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Selamawit

If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
