30 years teaching early years in Addis Ababa

I teach early years at Starlight Girls' School in Addis Ababa since 1991. Most days I teach teenagers, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Selam
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Selam: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me early years in 2017 at Starlight Girls' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on!

you taught me early years in 1997 at Starlight Girls' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Greetings from Haarlem.
