Selam Melaku
25 years teaching accounting in Jimma
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Jimma Secondary School
- Since 2007
- English, Amharic
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I play music while people worked.
More about Selam
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to Selam: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
