Segun Tunde Anyanwu

Youth badminton coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
  • Port Harcourt Stonebridge Sports Club
  • Since 1978
  • English, Igbo, French
For 48 years I've run the badminton program at Port Harcourt Stonebridge Sports Club in Port Harcourt. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Segun

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Segun: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
