Segun Kelechi Balogun
Sculpture artist in Zaria
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Zaria Art Collective
- Since 1993
- English, Yoruba
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1993 at Zaria Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Zaria Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Segun
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Segun: Any gift helps me keep the free Saturday class running.
