Taught mathematics at Kano Academy
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Academy
- 2000 to 2022
- English, Hausa
For 22 years I was the mathematics teacher at Kano Academy. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,030 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Segun: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
