Sebastião Guilherme Albuquerque

Self-taught photography artist

  • 🇧🇷 Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
  • The Bayview Art Collective
  • 1991 to 2023
  • Portuguese, English
I'm a photography artist based in Salvador. I've been making things from 1991 to 2023 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

More about Sebastião

I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Sebastião: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
