Helping people break into engineering
- 🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- St. Joseph's Mentoring Circle
- Since 1992
- Spanish
For 34 years I've mentored people in engineering and nursing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Sebastián
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Sebastián: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
