Helping people break into teaching
- 🇺🇸 Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States
- Santa Fe Community Trust
- 2007 to 2018
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 310 people through Santa Fe Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Sebastian
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Sebastian: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
