Sebastian G. Banks
Volunteer mentor with Mount Pleasant Community Trust
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States

I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 810 people through Mount Pleasant Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Sebastian
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Sebastian: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first software job in 2015. I still have your notes!
