I've been a nurse for 34 years, most of them in pediatrics at Greenfield General Hospital in Monterrey. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I sing in a choir.
I'm still learning every day.
