Sebastián C. Luna
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico
- The Maple Ridge Repairs
- Since 1983
- Spanish
My trade is leatherwork. I opened my own shop in 1983 in Mexicali and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Sebastián
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Sebastián: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
