I taught social studies at Aurora Middle School in Aurora from 2003 to 2020. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never turned anyone away.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
More about Scarlett
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Scarlett: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
