Scarlett M. Estrada
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Little Frangipani Trades Guild
- Since 1994
- English
I've worked in upholstery since 1994. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,180 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Scarlett
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Scarlett: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
