Scarlett Herrera

Choir director and singer

  • 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
  • Chicago Orchestra
  • Since 1982
  • English, Spanish
I play accordion and drums. I started in 1982 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Scarlett

I write my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
