Sawsan Malak Khoury
Teacher at Phoenix Secondary School, loves accounting
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Phoenix Secondary School
- Since 1984
- English, Arabic, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 42 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
More about Sawsan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sawsan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
