I taught history at Toronto Public School in Toronto from 1991 to 2020. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Savannah
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Savannah: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
