I taught mathematics at Harbor Primary School in Greensboro from 2011 to 2019. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Savannah
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
