Sathish A. Hegde
12 years teaching history in Varanasi
- 🇮🇳 Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Harbor Secondary School
- Since 2006
- English, Malayalam
Harbor Secondary School is my second home. I teach history there since 2006, mostly teenagers.
Over the years I've had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Sathish
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sathish: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
