Sathi Shirin Khatun
Drama and home economics teacher, Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Academy
- Since 1996
- English, Bengali
For 30 years I have been the drama teacher at Mumbai Academy. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Sathi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sathi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
