Sathi Maliha Sen

Geography and computer science teacher, Narayanganj

🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Sunrise Boys' School
Since 2001
English, Bengali

For 25 years I have been the geography teacher at Sunrise Boys' School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Sathi

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

Subjects taught

Geography

What gifts mean to Sathi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
