Sari Winata
Painter, potter and teacher at Semarang Art Collective
- 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Semarang Art Collective
- 1985 to 2016
- English, Indonesian
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1985 at Semarang Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Sari
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Sari: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
