Sari Maya Lestari
Piano player and teacher in Jakarta Selatan
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Selatan Atlas Ensemble
- Since 1992
- English, Indonesian
I've played piano since 1992, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Sari
I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Sari: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
