Saraswathi Varma
20 years teaching French in Kanpur
- 🇮🇳 Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Orchid Boys' School
- 2008 to 2017
- English, Tamil
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Saraswathi
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

You taught me French in 2013 at Orchid Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
