Sarah Rose Kioko
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Works
- 1983 to 2015
- English
My trade is tiling. I opened my own shop in 1983 in Kampala and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
What gifts mean to Sarah: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
