Sarah Nabwire
23 years teaching geography in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Meadowbank Technical College
- 2013 to 2025
- English, Swahili
I taught geography and mathematics at Meadowbank Technical College, Nairobi. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Sarah
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sarah: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me geography in 2023 at Meadowbank Technical College. I still remember that terrible school play. Truly.
