For 45 years I've run the baseball program at Berlin Athletic Club in Berlin. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Sarah
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Sarah: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
