Thatching, done properly
- 🇬🇧 Southampton, England, United Kingdom
- Since 2001
- English
I've worked in thatching since 2001. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,330 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Sarah: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
