Sarah F. Kirby
Auto repair for eleven years in Detroit
- 🇺🇸 Detroit, Michigan, United States
- Little Detroit Trades Guild
- 2001 to 2012
- English
I've worked in auto repair from 2001 to 2012. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 590 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Sarah
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Sarah: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
