Sarah Claire Barre
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇫🇷 Nice, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France
- The Gateway Workshop
- Since 1989
- French
I've worked in masonry since 1989. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,480 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Sarah: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
