Sarah C. Ortega
Retired environmental science teacher from Belfast Secondary School

I taught environmental science at Belfast Secondary School in Belfast from 1985 to 2023. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Sarah
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
