Sara Yodit Getu
Physics and history teacher, Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Parkside Primary School
- Since 1980
- English
For 46 years I have been the physics teacher at Parkside Primary School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Sara
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Sara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
