Sara Rasha Bakr

Children's librarian in Mecca

  • 🇸🇦 Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
  • Mecca Public Library
  • Since 1991
  • English, Arabic
I've worked at Mecca Public Library since 1991. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help. I've run the Saturday reading group and the summer reading challenge. I make terrible puns. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Sara: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
