Sapna H. Gupta
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Jacaranda Workshop
- Since 1991
- English, Hindi, French
I've worked in thatching since 1991. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,050 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Sapna
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
