Sapna D. Bansal
First-generation students mentor, Vadodara
- 🇮🇳 Vadodara, Gujarat, India
- Heritage Mentoring Circle
- Since 2005
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 880 people through Heritage Mentoring Circle.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Sapna
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Sapna: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
