I've spent 18 years as a lecturer in statistics at Chennai Polytechnic in Chennai. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
