Family farm, fruit orchards and maize

I farm fruit orchards near Charlotte. The land was my family's before me and I hope it will be someone's after me.
Weather makes fools of us all, but I'd still rather be out there. I never rush a conversation.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
