Santhosh E. Sastry
Cycling coach, Pune Football Club
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Pune Football Club
- 1980 to 2017
- English, Malayalam
For 37 years I ran the cycling program at Pune Football Club in Pune. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
More about Santhosh
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Santhosh: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1981. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Cork.
