Sanket G. Deshpande
Coached rowing for eight years in Howrah
- 🇮🇳 Howrah, West Bengal, India
- Howrah Sports Club
- 2001 to 2009
- English, Gujarati
I coached rowing at Howrah Sports Club from 2001 to 2009. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
More about Sanket
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
