I've worked in painting and decorating from 1985 to 2013. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,180 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Sanjay
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Sanjay: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
