Sander Kees Van Vliet
38 years teaching home economics in Amsterdam
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Amsterdam Secondary School
- 1999 to 2014
- English
For 15 years I was the home economics teacher at Amsterdam Secondary School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Sander
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Sander: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
