I coached football at Lakeview Football Club from 1990 to 2017. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You coached me in 1993. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Galway.
