Painting and decorating, done properly
- 🇳🇬 Enugu, Enugu, Nigeria

- English, Hausa
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1989. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,410 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Samuel
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Samuel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
