Samuel Yates

Teacher at Wollongong Girls' School, loves history

I taught history at Wollongong Girls' School in Wollongong from 1987 to 2010. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

What gifts mean to Samuel: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me history in 2004 at Wollongong Girls' School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
