Samuel Odhiambo Juma
34 years teaching art in Kakamega
- 🇰🇪 Kakamega, Kakamega, Kenya
- Lotus Girls' School
- Since 2002
- English, Swahili, Spanish
For 24 years I have been the art teacher at Lotus Girls' School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Samuel
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Samuel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
