Samuel Lucky Afolabi
Local pottery and tiling
- 🇳🇬 Awka, Anambra, Nigeria
- 1991 to 2019
- English, Hausa
I've worked in pottery from 1991 to 2019. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,180 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
More about Samuel
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Samuel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
